Enchanted Sequel in Production

The 2007 movie Enchanted starring Amy Adams as (Princess Giselle), Patrick Dempsey (Robert Philip), and James Marsden (Prince Edward) about a princess that goes through a portal by the Evil Queen to moderate age New York City, to await her prince to rescue her, while in New York her view points on life and love starts changing as she falls in love with Patrick Dempsey character Robert Philip who is a lawyer.

The movie after seven years is now getting a sequel. Disney has hired Shrek 2 and The Smurfs writers J. David Stem and David Weiss Anne Fletcher from The Guilt Trip will be running the product, with Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfeld who both produced the first movie is back for the sequel.

A draft for the sequel was actually composed by Jessie Nelson who wrote the script for 1998's film, Stepmom at one point, but it looks as though Disney is going with a new script. There is no word to if any of the original actors will be back for the sequel to play their characters for the sequel.

I on the other hand can't say I'm excited for the sequel, I didn't like the first film except the song, How do you Know I have to say it's a catchy song when you first listen to it.  There is no known date for when the release date is, but in the meantime, it's good to know that Disney is actually going through with the sequel that many fans have been wanting for some time now.

Did you like the first film? Can you picture the sequel?
